Dear Ms Drake:
Please accept my apologies for not writing to you sooner. I would like to thank you for your courtesy in sending us two copies of the Info Pages. My husband and I are new residents in Prince George and much to our amazement we still have not received a copy of a Telus telephone book, notwithstanding that we have had telephone service since September 15th.
When people move into a new area and a new residence, it goes without saying that they are looking for businesses specific to their needs, whether it is groceries, hardware of furniture. Until we were able to make contact with you our frustration level was increasing rapidly as we had no point of reference for information about where to find the things we needed, I never realized the value of Yellow Pages until I did not have them readily available.
Upon speaking to a Telus representative I was told that it was my fault that I did not have a new telephone book since I had neglected to request one when I made arrangements for new telephone service! However, when Telus further checked they found that it was, infact, the fault of the service representative. At this juncture, it is of no importance. As I stated at the beginnning of my letter, your courtesy has now provided us with the much needed Yellow Pages.
It goes without saying that from now on Info Pages will be the first place we will be looking for information. Again thank you.
